Introduction
Every couple of years I attempt to start a new list. I've not yet been able to successfully complete one. Here's my latest attempt wtf. To help me with this list, I've been doing some research and what have I found? That I'm actually pretty blessed and privileged. For example, in the top 101 things list, things like going camping and sleep under the stars are some things on top. I live in a country where these activities are common and probably taken for granted. It's unusual to live here for so long and have not had the opportunity to do it even once. Of course, this just means that there are many opportunities that don't present itself so readily to me. This is me actively seeking those opportunities, I suppose.
The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.Dates:
My start date is: Thursday, 1st of January, 2015
My end date is: Monday 28th of September, 2017
