Introduction
I don't know how many of you have heard of or even participated in the Mission101 Challenge/Day Zero Project. I attempted once before but failed dramatically - only completing about a third of my goals. Now I've once again decided to give it a second attempt and Shuyiin might do it with me! Many of the goals are actually pretty simple but I've had them on my to do list for many years! Probably just have to kick that procrastination bucket and get on with it.
What is this challenge? Basically, you set yourself 101 goals and you have 1001 days to complete them all. According to the Day Zero Project website, this was created by some New Zealander called Michael Green. If you want to join in, you could easily find inspiration from the site or create your own. You don't even need to join up! But if you want to take a look at their Top 101 then you're going to have to create an account and sign in.

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
